Fiscal Officer

Delaware Opportunities is looking for a self-motivated, organized, and committed fiscal leader to head its Fiscal Department.  As the Fiscal Officer, this individual will be responsible for oversight for a department of five Bookkeepers.  The Fiscal Officer should be knowledgeable about non-profits and specifically about local, state and federal revenue streams and requirements.  The Fiscal Officer should also be experienced in auditing and review processes as well.

 

Housing Director

Delaware Opportunities is looking for a self-motivated, organized, and committed leader to head its Housing Department.  As the Housing Director, this individual will be responsible for oversight for a department of six staff with programs focused on rental assistance, housing counseling, rehab and home acquisition and other relevant programs.  The Housing Director should be knowledgeable about housing grants such as CDBG, HOME, RESTORE, Section 8, AHC, etc. 

 

Lead Teacher/Center Director

The Davenport Head Start Center is looking for a Center Director/Lead Teacher.

Plan and conduct an appropriate classroom utilizing the abilities of the staff, parents and volunteers to the fullest extent. The program must be in keeping with the performance standards, early childhood practices and the needs of the individual child as well as the group.

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and 2 years’ experience teaching young children.

Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking one full time Program Manager for the Weatherization Department. The Program Manager works in the Weatherization Department assisting households in reducing their heating and cooling usage by installing energy efficient devices and systems.

Victims Advocate/Counselor

Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Victims Counselor/Advocate. 

Pay range to start at $22.05 per hour, 35 hours per week. 

Advocates provide trauma informed services to victims of crime, domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse including medical and legal advocacy, accompaniment, and information and referrals to needed services. Experience and willingness to provide outreach education and public speaking desired. and integrity and ability to work independently. 

Youth Engagement Specialist

Seeking a motivated, self-starter to provide support and guidance to youth who are at risk of entering foster care in Delaware County

Candidate to provide in home visitation to youth educating and modeling in areas such as social skills, communication skills, conflict resolution and more.
